 Kaura Youth Set To Tackle Farmer-Herder Conflict  On Saturday, May 4th, 2024, the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kaura Local Government Area (LGA) chapter, convened a congress meeting to engage with local youth on issues pertinent to the community. The congress, uniting key youth stakeholders and pressure groups, welcomed attendees such as Mrs. Zipporah Z. Cronoh, the Youth Officer of Kaura LGA, alongside Comr. Istifanus Yakubu, Comr. Jubal Dabo, Comr. Victor Galadima, Comrade Emmanuel N. Wada, DSS officers from Kaura, Fulani leaders, and various chiefdom youth leaders. In her opening remarks, Comr. Patience Stephen Gandu, the coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kaura LGA chapter, expressed gratitude to the youth for their support.  She commended their efforts in maintaining peace within the local government, emphasizing the crucial link between peace and development.  GOV. FUBARA AGREES TO PARTNER WITH AUSTRIAN GOVERNMENT IN AGRICULTURE, EDUCATION. 



.... Plans to revamp the Rivers State fire service. 


Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has accepted the partnership gesture offered by the Austrian government in improving healthcare service delivery, agriculture and quality education for the people.


This acceptance was disclosed after a closed door meeting between Governor Fubara and the Austrian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr  Thomas Schlesinger in Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday.


In the company of the Ambassador was a delegation of an Austrian company, Avsatel Communications Limited, which was seeking partnership between the State tertiary institutions and an Austrian University in delivering quality health education.


The governor disclosed that from the expertise of Avsatel, the state government will further engage the company to revamp the State Fire Service to be more responsive to the needs of Rivers people.


Speaking to newsmen after the meeting, Mr. Thomas Schlesinger, Austrian Ambassador to Nigeria said they discussed on areas of mutual partnership, which includes collaboration between Austrian Universities and Rivers State owned tertiary institutions for global training in health education.


He further noted that the state has also agreed to engage the expertise of Avsatel Communications in transportation technology, especially in areas of providing expertise in the installation and use of air traffic management systems as well as revamping the State owned Fire Service.


Former governor of Rivers State, Dr. Peter Odili who was part of the closed door meeting said there are lots of potentials in the State that Governor Fubara is harnessing to advance the fortunes of Rivers people.


Dr Odili explained that a new level of collaboration was explored in the education sector that will encourage shared experience, exchange of programmes and making it possible for Rivers State and Austria to move into the future in the area of medical education.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
