 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES OTEGA OGRA ON ELECTION TO WORLD FEDERATION OF ADVERTISERS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE President Bola Tinubu has congratulated his Senior Special Assistant on Digital Engagement, Strategy and New Media, Mr Otega Ogra, on his election to the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA). A statement by Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President, Information & Strategy, indicates that the election took place at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting during the Global Marketing Week Conference in Stockholm, Sweden. President Tinubu described the development as a significant step for Nigeria’s growing influence in global communications.  GOV. FUBARA AGREES TO PARTNER WITH AUSTRIAN GOVERNMENT IN AGRICULTURE, EDUCATION. 



.... Plans to revamp the Rivers State fire service. 


Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has accepted the partnership gesture offered by the Austrian government in improving healthcare service delivery, agriculture and quality education for the people.


This acceptance was disclosed after a closed door meeting between Governor Fubara and the Austrian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr  Thomas Schlesinger in Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday.


In the company of the Ambassador was a delegation of an Austrian company, Avsatel Communications Limited, which was seeking partnership between the State tertiary institutions and an Austrian University in delivering quality health education.


The governor disclosed that from the expertise of Avsatel, the state government will further engage the company to revamp the State Fire Service to be more responsive to the needs of Rivers people.


Speaking to newsmen after the meeting, Mr. Thomas Schlesinger, Austrian Ambassador to Nigeria said they discussed on areas of mutual partnership, which includes collaboration between Austrian Universities and Rivers State owned tertiary institutions for global training in health education.


He further noted that the state has also agreed to engage the expertise of Avsatel Communications in transportation technology, especially in areas of providing expertise in the installation and use of air traffic management systems as well as revamping the State owned Fire Service.


Former governor of Rivers State, Dr. Peter Odili who was part of the closed door meeting said there are lots of potentials in the State that Governor Fubara is harnessing to advance the fortunes of Rivers people.


Dr Odili explained that a new level of collaboration was explored in the education sector that will encourage shared experience, exchange of programmes and making it possible for Rivers State and Austria to move into the future in the area of medical education.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
