 NLC backs new SSG Chiamaka Nnake, Seeks Workers Welfare  By Ukpa Ewa  The Organized Labour in Anambra State has pledged support to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while urging her to place the interest of Anambra and workers’ welfare at the forefront of her administration. The labour delegation, led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Chris Ogbonna of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), paid a courtesy visit to the new SSG at the Light House in Awka. Speaking during the visit, Comrade Nwafor said the office of the SSG plays a key role in government labour relations and called on Mrs. Nnake to ensure Anambra workers are given due attention in government affairs. He also congratulated her on becoming the first female SSG in the state at a young age, describing her appointment as historic.  Nigerians call for investigation into Sisi Quadri’s death as video of him complaining bitterly over his health in a hospital surfaces online


A viral video of Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji better known as Sisi Quadri, complaining about his health before his untimely death is making rounds online.


The disturbing video, which has left many calling for investigation over his death, captured the actor venting out in a hospital over the situation of his health. He could be heard talking about the series of tests they did for him. He stated that nothing was wrong him till they carried out tests and when he complained, they didn’t take him serious.


“Nothing was wrong with me till you carried out your test and when I complained you didn’t take me serious”.
