 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System.  Three Separatist Fighters Killed in Sop, Northwest Region


Three Ambazonia fighters lost their lives in Sop, a village in the Bui Division of Cameroon’s Northwest Region, following a confrontation with the military on September 8. 


According to reports, the military ambushed the fighters after receiving information about their location. While some fighters managed to escape, it’s believed several were injured.


Local residents described hearing intense gunfire in the area, which has become a frequent battleground in the ongoing Anglophone crisis.


 Military officials, speaking anonymously, confirmed the operation saying that they "acted based on intelligence to protect civilians. Some escaped, but we are tracking them down."


Authorities are now searching nearby villages, hoping to capture the wounded fighters before they can regroup.
