 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.  An Excellent celebration, appreciation of LASTMA "Dancing Officer" by Lagos First Lady 


Yesterday, the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu joined by some members of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO),  celebrated an exceptional officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr. Timothy Olusegun Adefolalu, fondly known as the "Dancing Officer," at the Lagos House, Ikeja.


Mr. Adefolalu, stationed at the Radio Junction, Oregun, Ikeja, has won the admiration of motorists and commuters with his remarkable passion, dedication, and unique ability to manage Lagos traffic with his delightful dancing steps.


His enthusiasm and commitment exemplify excellence in public service, showcasing the spirit of dedication that drives Lagos State forward.


Dr Sanwo-Olu commended his courage, hard work, and love for his job and extended her best wishes to him and his entire family for a fulfilling and prosperous 2025.
