 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  An Excellent celebration, appreciation of LASTMA "Dancing Officer" by Lagos First Lady 


Yesterday, the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu joined by some members of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO),  celebrated an exceptional officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr. Timothy Olusegun Adefolalu, fondly known as the "Dancing Officer," at the Lagos House, Ikeja.


Mr. Adefolalu, stationed at the Radio Junction, Oregun, Ikeja, has won the admiration of motorists and commuters with his remarkable passion, dedication, and unique ability to manage Lagos traffic with his delightful dancing steps.


His enthusiasm and commitment exemplify excellence in public service, showcasing the spirit of dedication that drives Lagos State forward.


Dr Sanwo-Olu commended his courage, hard work, and love for his job and extended her best wishes to him and his entire family for a fulfilling and prosperous 2025.
