 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said.  Fatal R21 Bus Crash at R24 Split in Johannesburg Claims 12 Lives


A tragic bus accident on the R21 at the R24 split claimed the lives of 12 people early this morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene, where they found the bus overturned, with multiple passengers trapped inside.


Authorities confirmed that several other passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care. The cause of the crash remains unclear, but investigations are underway.


Traffic in the area was severely affected, with road closures leading to major delays. Motorists have been urged to seek alternative routes.
