 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  FG Vows to Reduce Industrial Carbon Emissions


The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to curbing industrial carbon emissions in Nigeria as part of efforts to achieve net-zero emissions by 2060.


Speaking at a stakeholders’ engagement workshop on the National Industrial Decarbonisation Programme (NIDP) in Abuja, the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Lawal, emphasized the need for industries to adopt green technologies and sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.


The Director General of NESREA, Dr. Innocent Barikor, highlighted that the NIDP aims to create a strong regulatory framework supporting Nigeria’s climate action goals, promoting energy-efficient practices, and facilitating carbon credit trading.


With industrial emissions projected to triple by 2030, stakeholders stressed the urgency of implementing decarbonisation strategies to align with international agreements such as the Paris Agreement.


The Chairman of NESREA’s Governing Board, Garba Mohammed, and Oxytane Africa Investment Limited’s MD, Tamarankro Obriki, also reaffirmed their support for the programme, emphasizing the economic and environmental benefits of transitioning to a low-carbon economy.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
