 El-Rufai’s Eye Condition Worsening In ICPC Custody, Aide Alleges The media aide to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, Muyiwa Adekeye, has expressed concern over what he described as the worsening eye condition of his principal while in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). Adekeye also accused the anti-corruption agency of failing to provide El-Rufai with adequate medical care despite repeated complaints about his health. In a statement issued on Friday, Adekeye said the former governor had reported symptoms including swollen, red, and itchy eyes while in detention and had requested medical attention. According to him, family members who visited El-Rufai noticed the condition and alerted ICPC officials, urging them to allow him access to medical treatment.   INEC stalls Natasha Akpoti recall petition over incomplete contact details


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has halted the recall petition against Natasha Akpoti due to incomplete contact information.


According to INEC, the petitioners provided only the lead petitioner's phone number and an incomplete address ("Okene, Kogi State"), falling short of the requirements outlined in Clause 1(f).


The petition, which garnered 474,554 signatures from 902 polling units, will be put on hold until the petitioners provide the necessary contact details.


INEC also urged the public to disregard speculation circulating on social media and awaits the completion of the petitioners' information to proceed with the verification process using the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).
