 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  WHATSAPP MONETIZATION FEATURES TO ROLL OUT GLOBALLY 


Meta has perfected plans to roll out Whatsapp monetization globally very soon. Under the Llama impact grant, users will be able to earn money via their WhatsApp features.


According to Meta, three new features will now be added to the Updates tab (which already accommodates Status and Channels) to make the monetization possible.


So the Updates tab will now have Channel Subscriptions - for exclusive updates; Promoted Channels - for discoverability; and Ads in Status - for business visibility.

 

“We’ve been talking for years about how to build a business on WhatsApp in a way that doesn’t interrupt personal chats," Meta revealed. "We believe the Updates tab is the right place to introduce that."


With more than 1.5 billion users, Whatsapp creators, organizations, and businesses will now be able to earn money on the communication platform.
