Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing.  Italy Crushes Nigeria 4-0 to End Flamingos’ U-17 World Cup Dream


Nigeria’s Flamingos crashed out of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup on Tuesday, suffering a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Italy in the Round of 16 at the Mohammed VI Football Academy.


The Azzurrine dominated from the start, breaking the deadlock in the 45th minute through Anna Copelli’s clinical finish just before halftime.


Italy doubled their advantage early in the second half when Caterina Venturelli struck in the 58th minute. Giulia Robino piled on the misery five minutes later with a 63rd-minute goal that effectively ended Nigeria’s hopes.


Rachele Giudici sealed the rout in stoppage time, scoring in the 92nd minute to complete a comprehensive victory.


The heavy loss ends Nigeria’s campaign in the knockout stage, as Italy advances to the quarterfinals.
