 ‘Empty barrels’ – Otti dismisses Uzor Kalu, Orji, Ikpeazu opposition gang-up Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has urged Abians to disregard recent remarks by some leaders of the opposition in the state. Governor Otti who was speaking on Saturday at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuoriehi, Umuahia North LGA, during the dedication of the church building, said that those who are gathering against him were the same people that failed to develop the state in the past. Otti was reacting to an alliance formed against his re-election by former Abia governors Orji Uzor Kalu, Theodore Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu. The governor slammed the opposition members for pursuing personal interest above the collective development of Abia, declaring that every gathering they are making against him would collapse.  Ministry Of Finance To Set Up Government-Private Dialogue Series Desk  

                                                                                                                                                                             The Federal Ministry of Finance is to set up a desk known as "Government-Private Dialogue Series" to foster government collaboration with the business community in pursuit of shared growth and national prosperity.                                                                                                                                                          

This was the outcome of the median edition of the Government–Private Sector (GPS) Dialogue Series a forum designed to bridge the communication gap between government and enterprise, and to align national economic reforms with the realities of everyday business.


 Convened by the minister of state finance Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, in Lagos, was tagged groundbreaking government-private sector (GPS) dialogue series with southeast business leaders.


Held in Lagos with the theme "Finance and SME Growth Roundtable,” brought together captains of industry, heads federal agencies, market leaders, and key Lagos State officials.  This marked the beginning of a structured and continuous dialogue between policymakers and Nigeria’s private sector, starting with the vibrant trading and entrepreneurial community of Southeast origin domiciled in Lagos.


A state by Mohammed Manga Director, Information and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Finance indicates that Dr. Uzoka-Anite reaffirms that the Renewed Hope Administration is determined to make the government more “present, responsive, and accountable.”  

She emphasized that policy must not be written for the people, but with them, stressing that the Government-Private Sector (GPS) Dialogue Series is “a platform where the voices of entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders directly shape the priorities of governance.”


The Minister highlighted that President Bola Tinubu’s  vision of a business-friendly Nigeria, built on partnership and reform, “I urge you to see yourselves not merely as businessmen and women, but as nation-builders. Let us work hand in hand with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver the shared prosperity we all desire. Government can design policy, businesses can activate productivity, and together, we can build prosperity," she declared.


The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, who joined the session, commended the initiative and pledged full federal support. He affirmed that “dialogue, timing, and consultation are the keys to effective reform.”  The minister thereafter announced a digital reforms such as the National Single Window Project to enhance trade facilitation and reduce import/export costs.


The event featured intensive panel sessions with heads of federal agencies where they unveiled credit schemes, single-digit loans, and export financing products available to businesses. While traders and entrepreneurs presented candid feedback on access to finance, taxation, import bottlenecks, and export readiness.


Some of the market leaders who expressed renewed optimism, described the forum as the “first genuine collaboration between government and traders in decades.” They applauded the Minister’s initiative for “bringing government to the people” and pledged to work collectively to ensure continuity and follow-through.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
