 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. Mother of BBN season 10 winner, Ìmísí, publicly debunks claims of sending her out at 12


A video shared on Instagram has captured the mother of Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, addressing the claims her daughter made during and after the show about her childhood.


In the video, the mother expressed her shock over Imisi’s statement that she was sent out of the house at age 12. She said she had no memory of such an incident and insisted it never happened.


She explained that she also contacted her own mother — Imisi’s grandmother — as well as her sister, and said both of them confirmed they had no knowledge of any situation where Imisi was allegedly thrown out


The mother further reacted to Imisi’s claims of being raped while growing up. She stated that she had no idea when or how it happened and asked Imisi to publicly clarify the timeline.


She added that the statements made about her have caused people to insult and tag her as a bad mother whenever she goes out, noting that the backlash has been overwhelming.
