 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Mother of BBN season 10 winner, Ìmísí, publicly debunks claims of sending her out at 12


A video shared on Instagram has captured the mother of Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, addressing the claims her daughter made during and after the show about her childhood.


In the video, the mother expressed her shock over Imisi’s statement that she was sent out of the house at age 12. She said she had no memory of such an incident and insisted it never happened.


She explained that she also contacted her own mother — Imisi’s grandmother — as well as her sister, and said both of them confirmed they had no knowledge of any situation where Imisi was allegedly thrown out


The mother further reacted to Imisi’s claims of being raped while growing up. She stated that she had no idea when or how it happened and asked Imisi to publicly clarify the timeline.


She added that the statements made about her have caused people to insult and tag her as a bad mother whenever she goes out, noting that the backlash has been overwhelming.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
