Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

 Neighbor charged in fatal shooting of King of the Hill actor Jonathon Joss 

The neighbor of actor Jonathon Joss has been indicted in connection with the “King of the Hill” star’s death. Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, 57, was indicted by a grand jury on November 17, following his arrest in June after Joss was fatally shot near his Texas home.

Police reports indicate Alvarez confessed to the shooting on the night it occurred, reportedly telling officers, “I shot him,” as he was being detained. Authorities were called to a south San Antonio residence around 7 p.m. on June 1 for a reported shooting in progress. When officers arrived, they found the 59-year-old actor wounded near the street. Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but Joss was pronounced dead at the scene.

Joss’ husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, confirmed his husband’s death, describing the attack as a deliberate act of violence. He said that earlier in the evening, he and Joss had been checking mail at their home—still recovering from a January fire that had killed their three dogs—when a man approached with a gun. Joss reportedly pushed de Gonzales out of harm’s way before being shot.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Joss was best known as the voice of John Redcorn on the animated series “King of the Hill,” which ran for 13 seasons from 1997 to 2008 and recently launched a reboot in August. He also had a recurring role as Chief Ken Hotate on “Parks and Recreation” and appeared in two episodes of the series “Tulsa King” in 2022.
