 Olukoyede Hails CCB Online Asset Declaration The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ola Olukoyede has described online asset declaration, introduced by the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB as an idea whose time has come and a huge step forward in the fight against corruption. He stated this on Monday, March 30, 2026 in a Goodwill Message at the opening of a national workshop themed:  “Strengthening Compliance with the Code of Conduct for Public Officers in Nigeria and the Deployment of the Online Assets and Liabilities Declaration Systems (OALDS)”,  in conjunction with the European Union, the Federal Ministry of Justice and International IDEA. MEMBERS OF THE MINORITY CAUCUS WALK OUT OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CHANTING 'APC OLE', AFTER THE HOUSE ADOPTED CLAUSE 60(3) TO PROVIDE FOR BOTH REAL-TIME ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION AND MANUAL TRANSMISSION OF ELECTION RESULTS.(VIDEO/PHOTO).


Members of the minority caucus walk out of the House of Representatives chanting 'APC Ole', after the House adopted Clause 60(3) to provide for both real-time electronic transmission and manual transmission of election results.


Rep. Bamidele Salam had moved to delete the provision on manual transmission, arguing that retaining it could undermine the credibility and technological advancement of the electoral process, but his motion which was seconded by Rep. Kingsley Chinda failed as the “nays” prevailed, effectively defeating the attempt to remove manual transmission from the clause.
