INEC Assures Nigerians Every Valid Vote Will Count in 2027 Elections The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has assured Nigerians that every valid vote will count in the 2027 general elections, pledging a credible process that reflects the will of the people. The assurance was given on Thursday by Dr Adejumo Peter, Head of Voter Education and Publicity at INEC Kwara State, during a seminar organised by the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ilorin. Dr Peter said the electoral body would strictly adhere to its rules and procedures to ensure free, fair and credible elections based on the principle of one person, one vote. “INEC in Kwara will follow the rules and procedures as laid down by our commission. We will ensure that the elections are done on a one-man, one-vote basis. At the end of the exercise, the outcome of the elections will reflect the will of the people,” he said. America Model / TV Personality 'Brooks Nader' experienced a medical emergency while travelling on a private flight recently. Reports indicate she became very unwell during the journey, which prompted concern from those on board.


Upon landing, emergency services were waiting, and Brooks Nader was taken by ambulance to a hospital to receive care. She documented parts of the experience on social media, showing both the seriousness of the situation and the response she received from medical personnel.


Following the incident, Brooks Nader shared that she is recovering and feeling better. Her updates highlighted her resilience and allowed fans to see that she was receiving proper care, reassuring followers that she is on the mend.
