 Florida couple accuse fertility clinic of using stranger’s sperm for daughter’s embryo in IVF mix-up: ‘Betrayed’ A Florida couple has accused a fertility clinic of using another man’s sperm to create their daughter’s embryo — as their dream of being biological parents was upended when they learned of their child’s DNA. Joshua and Natalie Strong alleged that Brown Fertility clinic officials in Jacksonville, Fla., including Medical Director Dr. Samuel Brown and 10 other defendants, caused the mix-up that resulted in their 1-year-old daughter’s biological father being a stranger, according to a lawsuit obtained by The Post. “They trusted Brown Fertility, as well as its founder and owner, Samuel E. Brown, M.D., with the family they hoped to build. ARREST AND RECOVERY: POLICE NAB SUSPECTED MOTORCYCLE THIEF, RECOVER STOLEN HAOJUE IN GWALLAMEJI


In a demonstration of its commitment to proactive policing and swift response to crime, the Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a suspected motorcycle thief and recovered a stolen Haojue motorcycle in the Gwallameji area.


Acting on routine patrol directives, operatives of E Division, Yelwa, intercepted one Bashir Usman, a 19-year-old male resident of Fada, at approximately 0552 hours on 16th May 2026. The suspect was found in possession of an unregistered red Haojue motorcycle.


Upon preliminary interrogation, Usman confessed to stealing the motorcycle from a student lodge within Gwallameji. 


Consequently, the Command has launched a detailed investigation to identify and trace the rightful owner. Once verified, the recovered motorcycle will be released to the owner on bond in accordance with due process. 


Meanwhile, the suspect remains in custody and will be charged to court upon the conclusion of preliminary investigations.


The Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+) reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to sustain visibility policing and ensure that criminal elements are brought to justice. He further urges residents to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
