 Florida couple accuse fertility clinic of using stranger’s sperm for daughter’s embryo in IVF mix-up: ‘Betrayed’ A Florida couple has accused a fertility clinic of using another man’s sperm to create their daughter’s embryo — as their dream of being biological parents was upended when they learned of their child’s DNA. Joshua and Natalie Strong alleged that Brown Fertility clinic officials in Jacksonville, Fla., including Medical Director Dr. Samuel Brown and 10 other defendants, caused the mix-up that resulted in their 1-year-old daughter’s biological father being a stranger, according to a lawsuit obtained by The Post. “They trusted Brown Fertility, as well as its founder and owner, Samuel E. Brown, M.D., with the family they hoped to build. BAUCHI POLICE FOIL ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING, INTERCEPTED TWO SUSPECTS

The Bauchi State Police Command has foiled an attempted kidnapping and arrested two suspects during a rapid response operation in Misau LGA, Bauchi State.

Acting on credible intelligence received on 12th May 2026 from an anonymous source, operatives of the Command swiftly mobilized, trailed, and intercepted the suspects before they could carry out their plan. The timely intervention prevented harm to the intended victims and disrupted the criminal network’s operation.

The arrested suspects were identified as Kyellumi Umar and Muhammad Aliyu Gawo. During interrogation, Kyellumi revealed that they had planned to rob one Alh. A. Labdo, whom they claimed does not keep his money in the bank, and Alh. Baba, who they alleged often comes to the market with a large sum of money in a bag. The would-be victims were invited and duly advised on safety measures.

CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+), commended the operatives for their professionalism, courage, and swift action. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to dismantling criminal gangs and ensuring the safety of residents across Bauchi State.

The suspects are currently in custody and undergoing investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID. They will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

Bauchi State Command urges members of the public to remain vigilant and continue providing timely information to the Police. Security is a collective responsibility, and public cooperation remains critical to preventing crime.
