Cuba introduces sweeping free-market reforms to decentralize state-run economy    Cuba has introduced a package of 176 free-market measures, which observers are calling the most sweeping economic overhaul of the island’s communist system since the Cuban Revolution. The 83-year-old comedian revealed her desire to undergo breast augmentation to correct asymmetry, humorously referring to her chest as “Thelma and Louise,” with one side larger than the other.

Her cohosts joined in the discussion, with Sunny Hostin sharing her own experience with breast reduction surgery and Sara Haines joking that natural breasts are “cousins,” while paid-for ones are “twins.”

The lighthearted exchange followed Rosie O’Donnell’s recent revelation about her facelift, which sparked broader conversations about body image and acceptance.

O’Donnell, a former cohost of The View, had spoken openly on her Substack about losing 50 pounds and the shame she felt around pursuing plastic surgery.

She admitted that there comes a point when “acceptance starts to feel like lying,” highlighting the complex emotions tied to cosmetic procedures.

Behar and her cohosts praised O’Donnell’s honesty, using it as a springboard to reflect on their own experiences and insecurities. Haines also mentioned her desire to address loose skin after childbirth, underscoring how common these conversations are among women navigating aging and body changes.

Behar’s remarks about surgery came just days after she announced an extended hiatus from The View to promote her new stage play, My First Ex-Husband, in Europe.

She shared her excitement about performing in Paris and London alongside Jackie Hoffman and two British actresses, describing the project as a fun collaboration.

As Behar prepares to step away from daytime television for her theatrical venture, her candidness about body image and aging reflects her trademark humor and openness, resonating with audiences who appreciate her honesty.
