 TROOPS OF OPERATION FANSAN YAMMA ARREST TERRORIST KINGPIN, INTERCEPT AMMUNITION COURIER, OTHERS IN KADUNA STATE Troops of the Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA (JTF NW OPFY) arrested a suspected terrorists, intercepted ammunition courier and apprehended a suspected terrorist logistics supplier in separate operations in Kaduna State. In the early hours of 9 September 2026, troops of Sector 1 conducted a clearance operation at Dabar Dabo, a known hideout of terrorists in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State. During the operation, troops arrested the terrorist kingpin and two other members of his syndicate at their hideout. The arrested suspects are currently in military custody for further investigation. Similarly, on the same day, troops of Sector 1, acting on credible intelligence regarding the movement of terrorist ammunition, arrested a 50-year-old female ammunition courier in possession of 300 rounds of ammunition concealed in a bag in Igabi Local Gover...

IRELAND HAS DEPORTED 42 SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS. (PHOTO).

Ireland has deported 42 South African nationals, comprising 9 men, 18 women, and 15 children in family units, on a charter flight from Dublin to Johannesburg. 


The Irish authorities cited that two of the deportees had prior convictions in Ireland. This operation marks Ireland's fourth deportation charter flight of 2026.

According to the Department of Justice, 130 individuals have been removed from the country this year due to grounds related to criminality.
