Arsenal stars ‘think Vinicius Jr transfer is a done deal’ as Brazilian ‘rejects’ Real Madrid offer Arsenal players reportedly believe Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior is heading to the Emirates, with the potential move described as a "done deal" inside Mikel Arteta’s dressing room. According to Diario AS, Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta has told some players the club is pushing to sign the Brazilian. Arteta is also said to have spoken with Vinicius about the role he could play in Arsenal’s ambitions. The speculation comes amid stalled contract talks with Real Madrid. Reports claim Madrid are unwilling to meet Vinicius’ wage demands. The winger is reportedly seeking a deal comparable to Kylian Mbappé’s reported £500,000-per-week salary, while Madrid’s offer is closer to £360,000 per week. Madrid’s stance is said to be that “no player is bigger than the club,” leaving an agreement uncertain and opening the door to a Premier League move. If it happens, the transfer wo...

SAMANTHA MORTON ADMITS BEING REPLACED BY SCARLETT JOHANSSON 'HURT'. (PHOTO).

Samantha Morton admits being replaced by Scarlett Johansson 'hurt'

Samantha Morton recently revisited the disappointment of being replaced in Spike Jonze’s 2013 film Her. Originally cast as the voice of Samantha, the AI system that Joaquin Phoenix’s character falls in love with, Morton recorded her lines in specially designed booths and even inside a car trunk to capture intimacy.

However, in post‑production, she was replaced by Scarlett Johansson. Morton admitted she was “surprised” and “a little sad” by the decision, though she acknowledged it was the director’s prerogative.

She added that Johansson’s voice was “beautiful” and evocative, but wished she had been given another chance to try an American accent.

Despite that setback, Morton is now earning acclaim for her role as Circe in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Nolan praised her performance as pivotal to the film, describing Circe as a character who shifts the entire dynamic of the story.

He recalled that after one of Morton’s takes, the crew spontaneously applauded a reaction he said he hadn’t seen since Heath Ledger’s legendary turn in The Dark Knight.

Nolan emphasized Morton’s depth and limitless approach to her craft, calling her the “fulcrum” of the epic.

Morton joins a star‑studded cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, and Charlize Theron in the adaptation of Homer’s classic.

With The Odyssey’s release, Morton’s portrayal of Circe is being hailed as one of the standout performances, cementing her reputation as a versatile and powerful actor.

Her journey from the disappointment of Her to the triumph of Nolan’s epic highlights both the unpredictability of Hollywood and the resilience of an artist committed to her craft.
