Maria Bartiromo breaks silence after she was fired from Fox News Maria Bartiromo broke her silence days after leaving Fox News, posting a cryptic photo of a rainbow breaking through storm clouds on X. She thanked followers for their support and promised “more to come,” marking her first public statement since Fox announced her exit on September 3 after more than 12 years at the network.  The company described her departure as a business decision, but reports quickly surfaced claiming she was fired for sharing internal editorial guidance with the Trump administration. According to outlets like The New York Times, Bartiromo allegedly passed Fox Business directives to White House adviser Peter Navarro after executives instructed anchors to avoid amplifying Trump’s unsubstantiated election claims.  Her attorney, Bryan Freedman, strongly denied those accounts, calling them “absolutely and unequivocally false” and threatening legal action. ANAMBRA POLICE ARREST 36-YEAR-OLD WOMAN OVER ALLEGED CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN ONITSHA, RESCUE FOUR CHILDREN, RECOVER SEX TOYS, OTHER INCRIMINATING ITEMS

The Anambra State Police Command on the evening of today 10th September 2026, acting on open-source intelligence concerning a disturbing trending video of a lady allegedly using sex toys on a minor, has arrested one Anulika Onyeanusia, a 36-year-old woman, in connection with an alleged case of child pornography in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The operation also led to the rescue of four children, aged 2, 3, 6 and 9 years respectively, as well as the recovery of sex toys and other items relevant to the ongoing investigation.

The suspect is currently in police custody as the Command intensifies its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged offence and the possible involvement of other persons. The husband of the suspect is also undergoing interrogation to determine whether he has any connection with the alleged offence.

The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, who is deeply disturbed by the alleged act, described it as unacceptable, particularly because it involves the exploitation and abuse of children who are incapable of protecting themselves. He has therefore directed a thorough and professional investigation while ensuring that the rescued children receive appropriate care and protection.

To this end, the Command notes that beyond the investigation and prosecution, its priority is the safety, dignity and wellbeing of the rescued children. The Command will work with the appropriate child-protection and relevant support agencies to ensure that the victims receive the necessary care, protection, counselling and other support required for their recovery. Their identities and privacy will be protected throughout the process, and they will be treated with compassion and sensitivity.

The Command also commends the vigilante operatives in the area, as well as bloggers and residents who provided information that assisted the investigation and led to the arrest of the suspect.
