Florida couple accuse fertility clinic of using stranger’s sperm for daughter’s embryo in IVF mix-up: ‘Betrayed’ A Florida couple has accused a fertility clinic of using another man’s sperm to create their daughter’s embryo — as their dream of being biological parents was upended when they learned of their child’s DNA. Joshua and Natalie Strong alleged that Brown Fertility clinic officials in Jacksonville, Fla., including Medical Director Dr. Samuel Brown and 10 other defendants, caused the mix-up that resulted in their 1-year-old daughter’s biological father being a stranger, according to a lawsuit obtained by The Post. “They trusted Brown Fertility, as well as its founder and owner, Samuel E. Brown, M.D., with the family they hoped to build. That trust was betrayed,” the couple said in the lawsuit filed in Duval County Circuit Court Thursday. “The Strongs are now raising a daughter whose paternity test confirms that another man, not Joshua, fathered her.” The married couple had ...

Keyamo Faults Atiku for Calling Tinubu ‘Bola’

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has criticised former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar for repeatedly referring to President Bola Tinubu by his first name during a press conference on Friday.

In a post on his X handle, Keyamo described Atiku’s use of “Bola” as “very disrespectful and discourteous.” He argued that the office of the President should be treated with dignity regardless of political differences.

“The continuous reference to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by His Excellency, ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar in his Press Conference earlier today as ‘Bola’ is very disrespectful and discourteous,” Keyamo wrote.

“He should know better that no matter your differences with Mr. President, for the sake of the country, that office should be accorded all the dignity it deserves.”

Keyamo further accused Atiku of speaking from a place of personal grievance, stating that “the tone reeks of pain and bitterness in his heart.”

He also pointed to what he called a contradiction in Atiku’s earlier claim that Tinubu is older than him. “After all, he made the outlandish claim the other day that Mr. President is older than himself. It is therefore a contradiction that he would also refer to an ‘elder’ by his first name,” Keyamo said.

Atiku had, during the Abuja press conference, urged Tinubu to adopt his proposal for government intervention aimed at reducing petrol prices. He said the President could rename the idea and take full credit if it would ease the burden on Nigerians.

“Bola Tinubu should not be ashamed to do what is necessary to lower the price of petrol simply because Atiku Abubakar proposed a government intervention. He should just take the idea, rename it if he wishes, and even take the credit. What matters to me is that Nigerians pay less,” Atiku said.

The former Vice-President also warned against relying solely on palliatives to address rising living costs and called for concrete measures to bring down the price of petrol.
