 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.                According to CCTV,an Egyptian billionaire identified as Nagulb Sawiris has offered to purchase Mediterranean islands for refugees to call home and earn a decent living.The tycoon has identified two private Greek islands which he is negotiating to acquire.The story of the three year old Syrian child Aylan who washed up to a beach in Turkey after their boat capsized is what moved the billionaire to action.His plan to give the refugees an island has been stalled by lack of communication from Italy and Greece.Sawiris said in a statement that he has been approached by the {United Nation's refugees Agency UNHCR}to collaborate in the settlement project.The initial stage of the project is estimated to be worth 100 million dollars.Naguib Sawiris is the CEO of Orascom Telecom Media and Technology based in Cairo.The tycoon is the third richest man in Egypt and his ranked 10th richest man in Africa by Forbes.
