A 13-year-old Montana boy gave his young life saving his little sister.  A fun day of tubing on Clarks Fork River on September 16th took a tragic turn when a pair of siblings ran into trouble. 13-year-old Ephraim Dayley was tubing near his sister when he noticed she was in trouble. His sister had somehow parted with her tube and was struggling to get back on.  Ephraim wasted no time plunging into the water and giving aid to his sister. After successfully getting his sister back onto the tube, she was unable to help him, and he slipped below the surface.  His sister was able to make it to shore, and authorities were notified.  Sadly, the little hero would not be recovered from the water until the following day. Searchers utilized specialized underwater technology and were able to locate Ephraim under 6 to 10 ft of water. He was respectfully brought ashore and solemnly pronounced deceased on scene. This is a remarkable story of a strong sibling bond transcending ...

Carson Daly thought Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s romance moved too fast: 'I tried everything in my power to not let this thing happen' Carson Daly has revealed he wasn’t initially supportive of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s relationship when it began in 2015. During The Voice: 30th Season Celebration, Daly admitted he actively tried to “pump the brakes” on their romance, concerned that both were fresh out of highly publicized divorces.  He recalled discussing the situation with Adam Levine, saying they couldn’t imagine the pairing working out. Shelton confirmed Daly’s account, noting his friend did try to slow things down. Daly explained his hesitation stemmed from the emotional toll of divorce, as Shelton had split from Miranda Lambert and Stefani from Gavin Rossdale that same year. While Daly was skeptical, Levine said he immediately saw the connection between the two coaches and was “pumped on it.”  Their friendship grew during that period, and Stefani’s repres...

ITALY IS PREPARING TO BAN FACE COVERINGS IN SCHOOLS AND LIMIT THE NUMBER OF FOREIGN STUDENTS PER CLASS.(PHOTO).

Italy is preparing to ban face coverings in schools and limit the number of foreign students per class. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said this on Sunday, September 20, at a youth event organised by her party. Meloni said a package of measures will soon go before the Italian cabinet, including a ban on burqas and niqabs in schools, a requirement for parents of pupils facing “serious difficulties integrating” into the national school system to learn Italian, and a limit on places for foreign pupils. “It is unacceptable that in an Italian classroom the children who end up feeling pushed into a corner are Italian children because they have become the minority. That cannot be allowed,” Meloni said during a rally organised by Gioventù Nazionale, the youth wing of her Brothers of Italy party. “Calling all this integration is yet another lie, a convenient lie for those who live off ideology, for those who preach to us from their living rooms and then send their own children to schools w...

Image
OPERATION HADIN KAI CLARIFIES RECIRCULATED 2016 AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL REPORT ON GIWA BARRACKS  The attention of Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has been drawn to the recirculation of an old report attributed to Amnesty International, alleging death of detainees, including children, died at Giwa Barracks, Maiduguri. The report, which dates back to 2016, concerns allegations relating to detention conditions during that period and has no connection with events or conditions at the facility in 2026. Its current recirculation without the appropriate historical context is therefore misleading and capable of creating the false impression that the reported deaths are recent occurrences. For clarity, the Amnesty International report was published in May 2016 and the figures contained therein relate to alleged deaths recorded between January and May of that year. While the report represents Amnesty International’s account of events at the time, i...

However, some who spoke to the news outlet said the US authorities' investigations into their past, some going back as far as 1995, established that they had a history of suspected crime or aggressive public conduct. For instance, one of the applicants, a 67-year-old man, admitted to shooting a black South African national in 1995 after American authorities highlighted that incident during his screening. The man said he was acting in self-defence.  Harry and Meghan's media treatment echoes what happened to Diana, Earl Spencer tells BBC Earl Spencer has drawn parallels between Princess Diana’s struggles with the press and the scrutiny faced today by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In a BBC interview, he described tabloid coverage as a “cancerous influence” and recalled Diana’s “tears of despair” under relentless criticism.  He said it was “beholden on people to learn from Diana’s example,” noting how damaging daily attacks can be for anyone in the public eye. Spencer emphasized that he supports both of Diana’s sons equally, rejecting the idea that he is only “on Harry’s side.” He explained that his concern stems from witnessing how media hostility deeply affected his sister, leaving her “brought low” by constant judgment.  He sees echoes of that treatment in the way the Sussexes have been portrayed since stepping back from royal duties, particularly in light of their own public criticisms of the press. The interview...
