 Single Mother Arrested for Allegedly Killing Twin Sister and Daughter in Enugu A horrific incident has shaken the community of Umuidenyi, Aji, Enugu Ezike, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu State, after a single mother, Oluchukwu Odo, was taken into custody for allegedly killing her twin sister and daughter. According to eyewitnesses, the tragic event occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at the family's home. Although details leading up to the incident are still unclear, family sources revealed that Oluchukwu's twin sister had visited their parents' home with her daughter when the incident occurred. A neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, recounted the chilling events: "I heard the woman screaming and running towards my door. GOVERNOR AMBODE APPROVES THE EMPLOYMENT OF 1,200 TEACHERS YESTERDAY.

                      Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the employment of  1,200 primary school teachers in order to boost the manpower capacity in the State Primary education system.The Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education {SUBEB},Dr Ganiyu Oluremi Sopeyin,who disclosed this in his office today,said that the gesture was part of ongoing efforts of the current administration to improve the quality of education.He explained that successful candidates were selected from a transparent examination process of international standard in order to select the best candidates.While congratulation successful candidates who would be joining other teachers,the SUBEB boss urged them to reciprocate government's good gesture by putting in their best in the State Public Service.He said that the Service has a rewarding system which will compensate them for their hard work,dedication and honesty,hence the need for them to prove their mettle to be recognised.Successful candidates,who had earlier been sent SMS messages,were advised to collect their letter of employment from SUBEB office in Maryland.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
