 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings.       More chieftaincy crises are brewing in Anambra State, (its a matter of time) because of a government that takes delight in creating parallel traditional rulers in many communities. A state where one of the criteria for recognition as a traditional ruler is for the candidate to be a loyal party member of ruling party, or governor's sycophant. A government that issues Certificate of Recognition as a means of political patronage to individuals who lacks popular support of the communities they seek to rule.

Recently, Twelve traditional rulers who supported Arthur Eze's agitation against the non-conduct of local government elections were arbitrarily hammered with one year suspension, with threat of outright removal.
Others were bribed with brand new Jeeps for their seeming loyalty.
More of such time bombs waiting to explode include, Awka, Aguleri, Alor, Ukwulu, Isulo and many others.
This looming anarchy could be prevented now. A stitch in time, saves nine.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
