 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. LASG COMMISERATES WITH FAMILY OF LATE BISHOP OLUSOLA ORE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

 

The Lagos State Government, on Friday, commiserated with the family of Late Bishop Olusola Ore, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on the demise of the Bishop.
The Honourable Commissioner for Home Affairs, Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi, speaking during a condolence visit to the home of the Late Bishop, expressed condolence to the family on behalf of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Government.
According to him, “The State Government, through the State Ministry of Health, rendered all medical support to the late Bishop while he was ill but all efforts proved abortive. The Governor empathised with the family and the body of Christ in Nigeria, particularly the Lagos State CAN and PFN”.
Presenting a Letter of Condolence to the family and CAN on behalf of the State Government, Elegushi consoled the widow of the deceased to take solace in the fact that the late Bishop is in a better place and had touched so many lives with kindness during his stay on earth.
The immediate younger sister of the late Bishop, Mrs. Erinfolami, who responded on behalf of the family, thanked the representatives of the Lagos State Government for the visit as well as the kindness and benevolence of the present administration towards the family, promising to update the State Government on the burial arrangements as planning progresses.

Other members of the visiting team included the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Mrs. Adebunmi Elizabeth Adekanye; the Special Adviser to the Governor (Christian Religion), Reverend Bukola Adeleke; Executive Secretaries of both Christian and Muslim Boards, Mrs. Florence Yetunde Gbafe and Mr. Rahman Ishola respectively, among others.
The late Bishop Olusola Ore, who died on Monday, 26th October 2020, was the Chairman, Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) and also the Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Lagos State Chapter.
