Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive. Governor Zulum Flagg Off 2022 Pilgrimage in Maiduguri International Airport.

~National 2022 Hajj Operation Kicks Off in Maiduguri.

The Chairman NAHCON, Alh. Kunle Hassan, first and foremost thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and the Borno state Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum for making this event a memorable one and this year's Hajj will take off here in Maiduguri. Maiduguri is a state of economic and a home of Islamic knowledge. He further advised the pilgrims to be a good ambassadors of Nigeria and to maintain the dignity of the Holy land since they are going for worshipping Almighty Allah not for a business or visiting trip.

The President Muhamadu Buhari who is ably represented by Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, in his speech thanked president Muhammadu Buhari for given him the opportunity to Flagg off 2022 National pilgrimage here in Maiduguri international Airport. It is, indeed, a welcome development to commence National Hajj operation here in Maiduguri international Airport. He also advised the pilgrims to be a law abiding citizens when get to the Holy land for Hajj exercise.

The events which was grace by Borno Deputy Governor, Hon. Umar Usman Kadafur, The Shehu of Borno, SSG, HOS, FAAN and other Stakeholders are all present.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
