Lara Trump admits 'it's a struggle' as she opens up about parenting her two children
Lara Trump recently opened up about the everyday realities of parenting, sharing how her two children with Eric Trump Luke and Carolina couldn’t be more different.
On her podcast The Right View, she explained that Carolina, now seven, is adventurous with food and willing to try anything, while Luke, eight, is far more selective. “Every parent, you got one,” she said, calling picky eating a universal challenge.
She added that their differences go beyond meals, noting how each child responds to situations in unique ways. Still, they share common ground in their love of sports and animals, something Lara joked they “probably get from her.”
Luke, born in 2017, has already shown passions similar to his father, with Eric posting bike‑ride photos of the two together. Carolina, born in 2019, has developed her own spirited personality, rounding out the family dynamic.
Lara also reflected on her pregnancies and the joy of raising children, recalling how fatigue hit her hard during her first pregnancy but how she had always wanted to be a mother.
For her, the contrast between Luke and Carolina highlights the individuality of parenting, while their shared interests remind her of the joy in raising them.
