 ‘Empty barrels’ – Otti dismisses Uzor Kalu, Orji, Ikpeazu opposition gang-up Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has urged Abians to disregard recent remarks by some leaders of the opposition in the state. Governor Otti who was speaking on Saturday at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuoriehi, Umuahia North LGA, during the dedication of the church building, said that those who are gathering against him were the same people that failed to develop the state in the past. Otti was reacting to an alliance formed against his re-election by former Abia governors Orji Uzor Kalu, Theodore Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu. The governor slammed the opposition members for pursuing personal interest above the collective development of Abia, declaring that every gathering they are making against him would collapse. Why I took break from music – Rapper Reminisce.

Nigerian hip-hop artist and actor, Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce, has revealed why he took a break from the music scene.

Speaking in the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, the ‘Local Rappers’ crooner said he took a break from music to focus on his family.

Reminisce who recently made his comeback with his long-awaited album, “ATSG, Vol. 1,” after seven years, said his craft was taking all his attention that he barely noticed changes in his home or see his children despite living together with them.

He said, “There were times I don’t see my kids for 4 days and we live together. When I get back, they’re in school…

“One of the reasons I actually did take a step back. Let me tell you this story. Some years back, my wife changed the entire set up of our house. It was around that period where I was dropping albums every year and touring. My house painting was changed for almost two years and I didn’t notice. That was when I realised that I need to take a step back and be will my family. Family over everything.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
