 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable.  Abia Former Governor’s Pension: Ikpeazu, Theodore Orji didn’t pay me a dime as pension — Senator Orji Kalu


Reactions have continued to trail the bill passed by the Abia state house of Assembly, which scrapped pensions paid to Former Governors of the state and their Deputies.


Former Governor of Abia state and Senator representing Abia North senatorial district Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has debunked rumors that he was paid pension by his successors, according to Punch, one of the Senators aide said, “As a former governor of the state, T. A. Orji did not pay him (Kalu) a dime as pension and Okezie Ikpeazu continued in the same manner.”


In a similar development, another former Governor of the state, Senator T A Orji’s Liaison Officer, Ifeanyi Umere, said the ex-governor had not been receiving a pension.


“Throughout as the governor of Abia for eight years, T. A. Orji has not received any penny as pension,” he said, calling on the state Assembly to come out with any evidence available to them.


Also, immediate past Deputy Governor of the State, Rt Hon Ude Okochukwu said, “Nobody has given me a dime. I am aware of the law. For me, it (the law) is as good as not being there. If all past governors said they have not been paid anything, what is the essence of the existence of the law?”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
