 China, Russia, Iran warships arrive in South Africa for military exercises Chinese, Russian and Iranian warships arrived in South African waters for a week of naval drills starting Friday off the coast of Cape Town. The Chinese-led drills were organized last year under the BRICS bloc of developing nations and South Africa's armed forces said they will bring members of the bloc together to practice maritime safety and anti-piracy operations and “deepen cooperation.” China, Russia and South Africa are longtime members of BRICS, while Iran joined the group in 2024. It was not immediately clear if other countries from the BRICS group — which also includes Brazil, India and the United Arab Emirates among others — would take part in the drills. A spokesperson for the South African armed forces said he wasn't yet able to confirm all the countries participating in the drills, which are due to run until next Friday. ALABAMA: A WELL KNOWN V. C OF MADISON COUNTY YOUNG REPUBLICANS ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL TORTURE AND TRAGIC MURDER OF A 54-YEAR-OLD MAN. (PHOTO).

 Alabama - The well-known Vice Chairman of the Madison County Young Republicans arrested for sexual torture and tragic murder of a 54-year-old man.


36-year-old Kyle Lewter has been charged with murder,  s*xual torture and s*xuaĺ abuse with an inanimate object.


These charges come after the uncle of 54-year-old, Derek Walls, became concerned after not being able to reach Walls and repeated knocks on his door went unanswered. 


The uncle called 911 and police made the shocking discovery inside of the Lewter home. Walls and Lewter were known to each other, however there are no reports on what that connection was. 


The public is shocked after hearing the news of Lewter's arrest. Kyle has been publicly involved in the Alabama Republican party since he was still in middle school and has done campaign work for several prominent Alabama Republicans including Jeff Sessions and Mo Brooks.


The Madison County Young Republicans have declined to speak on the incident so far. 


Lewter is being held on $60,000 bond and it is unclear whether he has retained legal representation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
