 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. KENTUCKY COUPLE ARRESTED FOR TRYING TO SELL THEIR NEWBORN TWINS. (PHOTO).

 Kentucky couple arrested for trying to sell their newborn twins!


According to Jackson County deputies they received a tip that Jacquilyn Keith and Zachary Davis were attempting to sell their newborn twin babies for $5,000.00.


The tip came in from Davis's sister-in-law who told them that the couple had agreed to sell their babies to her. She was able to provide deputies with screenshots and a recorded conversation as evidence of the claims.


When questioned, both parents admitted they had agreed to sell their children, however they stated they wouldn't have gone through with it in the end.


Both Davis and Keith were arrested on promoting human trafficking charges and are being held in the Jackson County Detention center.
