Boko Haram: Information minister naive, says Zulum Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has reacted to a news report which suggested that Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, dismissed the recent concerns he raised regarding the security situation in the state. Zulum had said  Boko Haram has renewed its attacks and kidnappings in the state with little pushback from security forces, suggesting that authorities in the region are losing ground to the insurgents. Zulum stated this during a meeting with security forces in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Tuesday.  Nigerians donā€™t care how you make money - Bella Okagbue

Reality TV star, Bella Okagbue, has expressed disappointment with Nigerians who prioritize wealth over the source of income.

She stated that 99% of Nigerians do not care how money is made, as long as they are rich.

Okagbue added that a lot of people in Nigeria have normalized illegal jobs, as long as they can make a substantial amount of money from them.

She advised netizens to work hard so that they can provide the best life for their children, enabling them to choose a partner based on love rather than money.

Okagbue also emphasized the importance of striving for contentment, so that even when things get tough, people do not feel tempted to take the wrong path.

She said: ā€œ99% of Nigerians donā€™t care about how you make your money. They just want to hype you and tap into your wealth without caring about your source of income. It even feels like doing an illegal job is normalised in this day and age.

ā€œYouā€™d be seen as important in the society if you are rich and itā€™s quite sad cause I donā€™t want to bring up my kids in such an environment where they think itā€™s okay to hurt people to get there or itā€™s okay to marry people that you cannot account for their source of income

ā€œHustle o, so you can give your kids the best life so your kids can marry for love and not for hunger so in their own world they would never be able to relate to certain lifestyle or associate with certain people. Most importantly, teach them contentment so when itā€™s not all rosy, theyā€™d never look the wrong way.ā€
