 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. POLICE NABS ONE-CHANCE ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS IN NASARAWA STATE. (PHOTOS).

 Police nabs one-chance armed robbery suspects in Nasarawa State.


Nasarawa State Police command says it has apprehended two suspects for allegedly operating a one-chance robbery gang in the state.


A statement signed by the Police Public Relation Officer DSP Ramhan Nansel, and made available to newsmen on in lafia,. explained that their operatives attached to Anguwan Lambu Division, Keffi, Keffi Local Government Area have arrested the suspects based on intelligence.


According to the statement said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects usually posed as taxi drivers to pick unsuspecting passengers and drive away to unknown destinations.


It says they thereafter, dispossess their victims of money and other belongings and abandoned them while sometime kill them.


The PPRO said that the suspects have confessed to the commission of the crime and said they have been operating for over 10 years and robbed a lot of people. 


They suspects further said that they were recently released from Shendam custodian facility, Plateau State, for similar offence after serving their jail term.


He said that the police recovered a Toyota Carina II vehicle with registration number Abuja CO 212 ABC, one Axe and Hammer from the suspects as exhibits.


The police spokesperson further said that the suspects would be charge to court for prosecution after investigation.
