 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. POLICE NABS ONE-CHANCE ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS IN NASARAWA STATE. (PHOTOS).


 Police nabs one-chance armed robbery suspects in Nasarawa State.


Nasarawa State Police command says it has apprehended two suspects for allegedly operating a one-chance robbery gang in the state.


A statement signed by the Police Public Relation Officer DSP Ramhan Nansel, and made available to newsmen on in lafia,. explained that their operatives attached to Anguwan Lambu Division, Keffi, Keffi Local Government Area have arrested the suspects based on intelligence.


According to the statement said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects usually posed as taxi drivers to pick unsuspecting passengers and drive away to unknown destinations.


It says they thereafter, dispossess their victims of money and other belongings and abandoned them while sometime kill them.


The PPRO said that the suspects have confessed to the commission of the crime and said they have been operating for over 10 years and robbed a lot of people. 


They suspects further said that they were recently released from Shendam custodian facility, Plateau State, for similar offence after serving their jail term.


He said that the police recovered a Toyota Carina II vehicle with registration number Abuja CO 212 ABC, one Axe and Hammer from the suspects as exhibits.


The police spokesperson further said that the suspects would be charge to court for prosecution after investigation.
