 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. TENSION IN PLATEAU STATE AS MAN TRY TO DETONATE BOMB INSIDE BANK. (PHOTO).

 There is currently tension after Security Operatives arrested a yet-to-be-identified man who reportedly tried to detonate a bomb within the premises of a bank in Plateau State, 9News Nigeria has learnt.


The incident reportedly took place on Monday, May 13, in Dadin Kowa town in the Jos South area of the state.


According to a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X on Tuesday, the vigilante security at the bank thwarted the attack when they noticed the suspect.


Angered by the situation, a mob attacked the suspect and reportedly demanded his execution.


It is unclear whether the suspect has ties to any terrorist organization in the country.


He has been taken to the police station for further investigation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
