Teen who pleaded guilty in the Lincoln County Missouri crash that took the lives of 3 teens, receives suspended execution of sentence.
17-year-old Hailey Zenk was driving on the night of February 5th, 2023 when her vehicle went airborne while topping a hill. The vehicle then crashed into a tree resulting in the loss of life to 3 of her passengers Emily McNees, Kaden Tyler and Will Flickinger. 1 other passenger survived the crash but ultimately spent months in the hospital rehabilitating.
At the time of the crash, Zenk was found to have alcohol, fentanyl, Xanax, Ketamine and marijuana in her system.
Zenk pleaded guilty to the charges against her and was sentenced to 7 years for DWI leading to injury, 10 years for driving intoxicated leading to 2 or more deaths, and 7 years each for 3 counts of involuntary manslaughter.
However the judge opted to give Zenk a suspended execution of the sentence. This ultimately means Zenk will now serve only 120 days in jail and be on probation for 5 years.
