 ‘Empty barrels’ – Otti dismisses Uzor Kalu, Orji, Ikpeazu opposition gang-up Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has urged Abians to disregard recent remarks by some leaders of the opposition in the state. Governor Otti who was speaking on Saturday at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Umuoriehi, Umuahia North LGA, during the dedication of the church building, said that those who are gathering against him were the same people that failed to develop the state in the past. Otti was reacting to an alliance formed against his re-election by former Abia governors Orji Uzor Kalu, Theodore Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu. The governor slammed the opposition members for pursuing personal interest above the collective development of Abia, declaring that every gathering they are making against him would collapse.  Equatorial Guinea in Uproar Over Baltasar Ebang’s Alleged Affairs with Hundreds of Women


Equatorial Guinea is in turmoil following a major scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, one of the country's well-known public figures. 


Rumors suggest that close to 400 private videos show Ebang in intimate moments with a wide range of women, including some from neighboring Cameroon and even alleged wives of government officials.


This scandal has sparked widespread concern, with many people fearing the possible release of more compromising videos. 


Speculation is also rife that the country’s security services might have leaked the footage, adding to the tension.


The situation has particularly impacted the wives of government officials, such as the spouse of Jesus Edu Moto, the head of presidential security.


 Many citizens also worry that their own loved ones could become involved in this scandal, leaving the nation on edge.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
