  Appeal Court Upholds Julius Abure as Labour Party National Chairman


The Court of Appeal has confirmed Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP).

The announcement was shared via the Labour Party's official X (formerly Twitter) handle, stating: “Barr. Julius Abure remains the LP National Chairman, Appeal Court Rules.”


Obiora Ifoh, the party’s Publicity Secretary, also confirmed the development during a brief phone conversation.


This judgment follows a prior ruling by a Federal High Court, which had affirmed Abure as the legitimate leader of the party.
