 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces.  Eleven Police Officers Charged in Alleged Alcohol Heist


Eleven police officers, including two commissioned officers, appeared in the Vereeniging Regional Court on charges of theft, extortion, and corruption. The charges stem from an incident during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the officers allegedly stole alcohol and money from a shop after accusing the owner of illegal sales.


The officers reportedly confiscated R600,000 worth of alcohol, R700,000 in cash, and a hard drive. While the complainant and his father were handcuffed, a backup CCTV hard drive captured them taking the alcohol.


The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has decided to proceed with charges against the officers.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
