 Popular Awka MC And Comedian Aiza Nwosu Shot Dead Popular Awka-born master of ceremonies, comedian and griot, Aiza Nwosu, was reportedly shot dead today, Sunday, 30th August 2026, in Awka, Anambra State. Unconfirmed reports circulating online allege that his killing may be connected to a lingering land-related dispute. This remains unverified, however, and it is now left for the relevant security agencies to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. The tragic news has shocked many, particularly within Awka and the entertainment community. It also raises renewed concerns about violent killings in Awka and the urgent need to address insecurity in the area. Aiza had been active in the entertainment industry for many years and was a friend and colleague to many. He was also known for mentoring younger entertainers and contributing to the growth of the local entertainment scene.  ANAMBRA POLICE FOILS A KIDNAPPING ATTEMPT: RECOVERS VICTIM'S VEHICLE AT ISUANIOCHA AND ALREADY WORKING ON VICTIM'S DEBRIEF FOR POSSIBLE ARREST AND DISLODGING OF THE KIDNAPPING GANG


Police Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugu-Ukwu in the evening of 17th May 2025 foiled a kidnapping attempt and recovered the victim's vehicle at Isuaniocha.


The kidnapping gang of five operating in a black coloured Toyota Corolla doublecrossed the victim at Amatu village, Agulu and abducted him with his black Lexus 350 SUV before the Police were alerted. The operatives in technology-driven manhunt on the criminals made them to abandon the victim and the vehicle on the road at Isuaniocha and fled. The victim has been debriefed and in safe custody. 


To this end, the Operatives are currently working on the necessary information available to dislodge the kidnapping gang and have stepped up security surveillance in the area for possible arrest of the suspect and to nip in the bud any untoward situation.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
