 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  "Help me!!! my late husband's brothers want to take over his properties, leaving me and my 4 children with nothing."- Anambra woman Mrs Chinweokwu from umudim, nnewi cries out to Anambra state government for help.


A woman Mrs Chinweokwu Agbodike, the wife of the late Peter Agbodike of Uruagu, in Nnewi, through her mother, has cried out to the Anambra State ministry of Women Affairs after she was arrested and taken to Kaduna FCID because of a dispute involving her and the brothers in-laws. 


According to the mother narrating the story, the brother in-laws have been attempting to install a CCTV camera in the compound of the woman on two separate occasions, which has been vehemently refused. 


The brother in-laws have also since been allegedly  looking for a way to convert the late brother's properties but Mrs Chinweokwu do not allow them.


So in reaction to her perceived stubbornness, the brother in-laws allegedly arranged for her arrest and was taken to Kaduna state..
