 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. A TENNESSEE GRANDMOTHER LEFT HER GRANDSON INSIDE OF HER CAR FOR 8 HOURS WHILE SHE WENT TO WORK, RESULTING IN HIS DEATH.(PHOTO).

 A Tennessee grandmother left her grandson inside of her car for 8 hours while she went to work, resulting in his death. 


69-year-old, Linda Stevens, is being charged with the negligent homicide of her 7-month-old grandson.


Authorities report Linda was on her way to work at the Monterey Library on the morning of April 15th. Linda had her grandson with her and was supposed to drop him off at daycare prior to starting her workday.


However, Linda failed to drop the young boy off and went to work at the library at 8 a.m., leaving her grandson strapped into his car seat. 


At 4 p.m., family members contacted Linda, concerned about the child's whereabouts. This led to the heartbreaking discovery of the young boy deceased inside of the vehicle.


Linda Stevens is being held on a $50,000 bond.
