 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. A TENNESSEE GRANDMOTHER LEFT HER GRANDSON INSIDE OF HER CAR FOR 8 HOURS WHILE SHE WENT TO WORK, RESULTING IN HIS DEATH.(PHOTO).

 A Tennessee grandmother left her grandson inside of her car for 8 hours while she went to work, resulting in his death. 


69-year-old, Linda Stevens, is being charged with the negligent homicide of her 7-month-old grandson.


Authorities report Linda was on her way to work at the Monterey Library on the morning of April 15th. Linda had her grandson with her and was supposed to drop him off at daycare prior to starting her workday.


However, Linda failed to drop the young boy off and went to work at the library at 8 a.m., leaving her grandson strapped into his car seat. 


At 4 p.m., family members contacted Linda, concerned about the child's whereabouts. This led to the heartbreaking discovery of the young boy deceased inside of the vehicle.


Linda Stevens is being held on a $50,000 bond.
