“Not all Kutis use narcotics” — Afrobeat singer Made Kuti addresses family misconception Afrobeat singer, Made Kuti, has dismissed the misconception that all members of the Kuti family use narcotics.  Speaking with TheCable on the sidelines of the United States mission’s 250th Independence Day celebration in Lagos, the singer said many people wrongly assume he and his relatives use drugs. “A lot of people think I smoke, but I don’t, and even my dad has quit. So, there is a big misconception that the family are all into narcotics, but most of us are not,” he said. When asked to describe himself in three words, Made chose “hardworking, loyal and passionate,” adding with a joke that “loyal” fits because “I’m a married man”. When asked which Nigerian artiste he currently listens to, Made named his grandfather.

OJ Simpson's haunting words: Late star made chilling comment before his ex-wife was found stabbed to death, claims Arsenio Hall

Arsenio Hall recently shared a disturbing encounter with O.J. Simpson that took place shortly before the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience while promoting his memoir Arsenio, Hall recalled meeting Simpson at a nightclub where he was drinking with members of New Edition.

During the night, Simpson confided that he still loved Nicole and admitted he couldn’t let her go, words that struck Hall as unsettling in hindsight.

Hall explained that Nicole and her friend Faye Resnick later arrived at the same club, leading him to realize that Simpson had been deliberately seeking her out.

The timing of Simpson’s comments about his inability to move on from Nicole left a lasting impression on Hall, especially given that not long afterward, she was killed.

Reflecting on the moment, Hall described Simpson’s remarks as chilling, noting how they foreshadowed the tragic events that followed.

The former late-night host also recalled watching the infamous white Bronco chase unfold on television, wishing he still had his show to address the nation during such a surreal moment.

Simpson’s acquittal in 1995 became one of the most publicized trials in history, and decades later, his estate agreed to pay nearly $58 million to Ron Goldman’s father following a civil judgment.

Simpson himself died in April 2024 at age 76 after battling prostate cancer, closing a chapter on one of America’s most infamous criminal cases.
