 LAGOS EMPOWERS FISH FARMERS IN IKEJA DIVISION WITH TRAINING, EQUIPMENT  … Reaffirms Commitment To Building 21st-Century Economy As part of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's commitment to advancing the T.H.E.M.E.S. Plus Agenda and positioning Lagos State as a 21st Century economy through the socio-economic empowerment of rural communities, the Centre for Rural Development (CERUD), under the Office of Rural Development in the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, has commenced the 2026 Fish Farming Training and Empowerment Programme across the five divisions of the State.  ‎NBA Awka Branch Pledges Support to Anambra Attorney General During Courtesy Visit

‎The Executive Members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Awka Branch, have paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Anambra State in his chambers at the Ministry of Justice, Awka.

‎

‎Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the NBA Awka Branch, Mr. Nnamdi Raphael Anagor, pledged the association’s full support and commitment to the leadership of the Honourable Attorney General in advancing the development of the state and strengthening the justice system.

‎

‎In her vote of thanks, the Assistant Secretary of the NBA Awka Branch, Barrister Chinenye Obunadike Nweke, expressed appreciation to the Honourable Attorney General for granting the delegation audience despite his demanding schedule.

‎

‎She also thanked God for His grace upon the Attorney General in his dedication to the legal profession and his contributions to both the Bar and the people of Anambra State.

‎

‎Responding, the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Nweke, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude for the visit. He emphasized the vital role of the legal profession in the governance process and encouraged members of the association to feel free to reach out to him whenever necessary.

‎

‎The Commissioner further assured the NBA Awka Branch of sustained collaboration and synergy aimed at enhancing the effective dispensation of justice across the state. He described the meeting as a privilege and reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the association for the advancement of the justice sector in Anambra State.
