Michelle Obama 'doesn't miss' her daughters after they left home but Barack Obama 'cried' when they went to college Michelle Obama recently joked about how life has changed since her daughters, Sasha and Malia, left home. On her IMO podcast with Jon Stewart and her brother Craig Robinson, the former First Lady quipped that she doesn’t miss them, even though she loves them dearly and still sees them often.  She contrasted her reaction with Barack Obama’s, noting that he cried when they went off to college, while she cheerfully said goodbye. Sasha graduated from USC in 2023, and Malia, who finished Harvard in 2021, is now building a career in Hollywood. Michelle explained that she enjoys the freedom of not worrying about her daughters’ whereabouts on Friday nights, describing their independence as a relief rather than a loss.  Stewart, who has two children of his own, admitted he misses the structure parenting provided, but Michelle countered that she has plenty of m...

FORMER REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY STAR JEANA KEOUGH UNDERGOING TREATMENT AFTER CANCER SPREAD TO LYMPH NODES, DAUGHTER SAYS. (PHOTO).

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Jeana Keough undergoing treatment after cancer spread to lymph nodes, daughter says

Former The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Jeana Keough is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with cancer that later spread to her lymph nodes, according to her daughter, Kara Keough.

Kara shared the update through a GoFundMe campaign created to help cover her mother's treatment and living expenses during her recovery.

She explained that Jeana first noticed a painful sore on her tongue nearly a year before receiving her diagnosis and initially believed it was caused by a tooth rubbing against the area.

“A few months ago, while visiting Shane and me in Florida, my mom mentioned a painful spot on her tongue,” Kara wrote. “She assumed a tooth had been rubbing against it and had even gone to the dentist multiple times to have the tooth filed down.”

Kara said she asked her mother how long the sore had been present, and Jeana realised it had been there for almost a year.

After doctors removed the cancer through surgery, the family believed the treatment had been successful. However, a second operation to remove lymph nodes revealed that the cancer had spread.

“What we thought would be a one-time surgery became a full cancer battle,” Kara wrote. “Jeana is now in her fifth week of chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy.”

According to Kara, the treatment has made eating and drinking increasingly difficult because of pain in her tongue and throat.

“She is exhausted, struggling to stay awake, and becoming malnourished because the pain in her tongue and throat makes swallowing even the smallest bites or sips incredibly difficult,” she wrote.

Jeana shares Kara and her sons, Shane and Colton, with her late former husband, Matt Keough.

Kara said she travelled from her home in Florida to Orange County, California, to help care for her mother during treatment.

Explaining the purpose of the fundraiser, Kara said the money would help cover medical-related expenses, everyday living costs, nutrition and additional support while Jeana continues treatment.

“My brothers and I want to help make sure Mom feels cared for, loved and supported throughout this fight,” she wrote.
