The Anambra State Hospital Administrator, Dr Frank Ifeanaeme, has commended healthcare workers at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Nawfia, and General Hospital, Nanka, for their commitment to duty, professionalism and compliance with administrative directives.
Ifeanaeme gave the commendation during separate unannounced inspection visits to the two health facilities on July 21 to assess service delivery, staff discipline and ongoing infrastructure development.
At the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Nawfia, he expressed satisfaction with the progress recorded, citing the increase in patient turnout and the cordial working relationship among members of staff.
He described teamwork as critical to efficient healthcare delivery and urged the workers to sustain the momentum.
At the General Hospital, Nanka, the Doctor in Charge conducted the hospital administrator on a tour of the facility, highlighting ongoing projects aimed at improving its infrastructure and service capacity. The projects include the construction of a staircase, installation of a solar power system and other facility upgrades.
The inspection also showed a high level of compliance with administrative directives, with about 99 per cent of staff wearing their official uniforms and name tags, while no cases of absenteeism were recorded.
Ifeanaeme praised the dedication and professionalism of the workers and encouraged them to remain committed to delivering quality healthcare services to the people of Anambra State.
