LARA TRUMP ADMITS 'IT'S A STRUGGLE' AS SHE OPENS UP ABOUT PARENTING HER TWO CHILDREN. (PHOTO).
Authorities have not released the names of either victim or suspect in this unbelievable example of the worst and potentially most dangerous side of social media.
A 17-year-old Oklahoma City teen was driving around on September 10th. The teen was recording video while driving in the area of Melrose Lane and Rockwell Avenue when he struck what he would claim was a deer.
Sadly, he had just plowed into a female victim riding on a scooter. The victim reportedly had "no chance" as authorities believe he struck her from behind.
According to reports, it would be two hours before her body would be discovered by the suspect's mother.
It is also unknown if the victim passed away on impact or was in pain for hours after being hit.
We do know that the teen called his mother after the accident, alleging he "had hit a deer", before driving to her workplace. It was at her place of work that the mother allegedly discovered the deceased female in the bed of the truck while inspecting the damage.
After discovering the victim, the teen's mother called 911. Officers and first responders arrived at the shopping center where the mother worked. EMS quickly determined the victim was deceased on the scene.
Police began questioning the teen and determined that he was under the influence. However, when asked, the teen refused on-scene tests.
He was arrested on scene, on the complaint of DUI, and leaving the scene of a crash with dire, fatal injury. A warrant was issued for a blood test.
The District Attorney will review the case and decide on official charges.
The teen was booked into the Oklahoma County Juvenile Justice Center.
We will update.
