 EDUCATION DISTRICT VI, POCACOV SENSITISE STUDENTS ON CULTISM, DRUG ABUSE AT IDI‑ARABA SCHOOL COMPLEX   Lagos State Ministry of Secondary and Basic Education, through Education District VI and in partnership with Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), has held a sensitisation programme at the Idi‑Araba School Complex to educate students on the dangers of cultism, drug abuse, and other destructive behaviours. 3 persons with disability arrested for drug trafficking - As NDLEA uncovers N5.8billion Loud in Lekki Lagos stash house; busts skuchies factory  A 60-year-old man Romanus Nwabara was among three persons with disability (PWD) arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for drug trafficking during interdiction operations in parts of Anambra and Kwara state. Based on credible intelligence, Nwabara was on Wednesday 6th May 2026 traced to Akpaka Forest, Onitsha where he was found with 250grams of skunk in retail sachets. In a different raid at Ogbunike area of the state, NDLEA officers on Thursday 7th May arrested another PWD Amos Kenneth, 25, with 160.3grams of Tramadol 225mg and 100mg; 80 pills of Diazepam; 38.23grams of Exol 5 and 176.93 grams of skunk.  As part of ongoing efforts to eliminate illegal waste dumping within the state, the LAWMA Waste Infractions Surveillance and Investigation Team conducted an overnight surveillance operation from May 8 to 9, 2026, in the Ketu Alapere axis.  During this operation, three individuals were apprehended for unlawfully disposing of waste in unauthorized locations. To deter further misconduct, they were all traced to their residences to investigate the motives behind their actions. Subsequent investigations revealed that their properties lack proper waste storage facilities and that they have failed to register their properties with the designated PSP operators.  All documented properties have been forwarded to the LAWMA legal department for further legal action. Additionally, all identified blackspots were effectively mitigated. #CleanerLagos
