 PRESS RELEASE FCT POLICE ARREST SUSPECT FOR ATTEMPTED CAR THEFT, RECOVER VEHICLE. On the 15th of September, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the FCT Police Command received a distress call reporting an attempted car theft along Tigris Crescent, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja. Responding to the distress call, a patrol team from Maitama Police Division was promptly dispatched to the scene, where one Mohammed Aliyu was arrested inside a vehicle while attempting to start and drive it away. Preliminary investigations revealed that one Mr. Ikechukwu had parked his black Hyundai Santa vehicle while attending an appointment at a nearby office.  How Bauchi Accountant-General Transferred State Funds to Private Company - Witness   Trial of the Accountant-General of Bauchi State, Sirajo Muhammed Jaja continued on Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Obiora Egwuatu with a witness revealing how Jaja diverted state funds to a private company. Jaja is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC ,  alongside Aliyu Abubakar, Abubakar Muhammed Hafiz, Ari Manga and Muhammed Aminu Bose, for alleged corruption. Using borehole water to rinse mouth risky – Aproko Doctor Nigerian doctor and health educator, Chukwuma Okoro, popularly known as Aproko Doctor, has warned that using untreated borehole water to rinse the mouth could expose people to bacteria associated with stomach ulcers. Aproko Doctor made the assertion in a video shared on X on Monday, urging people to check the source and safety of water they use to rinse their mouths, particularly borehole water. “If the water you use to rinse your mouth is coming from your borehole inside your compound, this particular video is for you,” he said.
