 Former Manchester United star Paul Scholes handed six-month driving ban Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been handed a six month driving ban after he racked up two convictions in the space of two days. The 51-year-old was caught speeding in a Range Rover in March while on a late-night drive through Cleckheaton in West Yorkshire. West Yorkshire Police brought a prosecution over the incident, as Scholes’ car had been clocked at 37mph on a 30mph stretch of residential road. The ex-England star was also taken to task by Greater Manchester Police after a Mercedes registered in his name was caught driving at 49mph in a 30mph zone in November last year. Scholes was then prosecuted for failing to respond to two police letters asking for confirmation that he had been the speeding driver. The two criminal cases culminated in hearings on two days last week, when Scholes was handed a six-month driving ban and ordered to pay fines, costs, and court fees totalling £1,472. A ...

 ‎Governor Soludo Appoints Dr. Chizoba Prisca Ezeasor as Executive Secretary/CEO of ASPHCDA

‎The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has approved the appointment of Dr. Chizoba Prisca Ezeasor as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ASPHCDA). The appointment was announced in a press release issued on July 28, by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary.


‎The announcement also included the appointment of three other seasoned professionals to head strategic state parastatals. They are Dr. Nelson Omenugha, appointed Special Adviser on Youth Reformation; Hon. Chike Anyaonu, appointed Managing Director of the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation; and Mr. Chris Osemedua Molokwu, appointed Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Corporation (ABS).


‎According to the statement, the appointments take immediate effect. Governor Soludo charged the newly appointed officials to deploy their wealth of experience and expertise in advancing the development of the state while demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, integrity, and commitment in the discharge of their responsibilities.


‎The appointment of Dr. Ezeasor as Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of ASPHCDA reflects the Soludo administration's continued commitment to strengthening primary healthcare delivery through capable and experienced leadership.


‎The ministry congratulated Dr. Ezeasor  on her appointment and wished her a successful and impactful tenure in advancing quality primary healthcare services across Anambra State.
